Looking for contacts for WRE sponsorship

We want to pitch our proposal for corporate, business, and individual sponsorship for the World Record Encampment as a portion of Soar Over Texas, a two year long marketing campaign to heighten awareness of soaring flight in the US.
Can you send us the name and email address of persons affiliated with organizations who might take an interest in sponsoring the 2006 World Record Encampment? I provide our basic plan here: http://www.ozreport.com/soarovertexas.php and http://ozreport.com/texas20062007.php.

The idea is that we use the upcoming high profile World Championships in Big Spring, Texas as an anchorage event for a range of events that highlight how great hang gliding really is. We want a sponsor for the first event (we are working on sponsorship for the National Flyin and the Worlds also), the World Record Encampment, so that we can be sure that it comes off and that the world's best cross country pilots are invited to come and try to break the existing records. Many will be here for the pre-Worlds in 2006 and Worlds in 2007.

Please help us out with some information if you can. We are also looking for individual sponsors, including people who would be willing to come to Zapata, Texas in June and July to be retrieve drivers. A nos money out of your pocket way to help out.

Please contact me at davis@davisstraub.com if you think this is a good idea.

In the past Flytec (Steve Kroop) and Quest Air (Russell Brown and Bobby Bailey, in particular) have been the major sponsors of the WRE providing $40,000 Dragonflies and pilots to fly them. They can't go on doing this alone for ever. Gary Osoba, David Glover, and the Oz Report have also helped financially and in exposure to make the WRE successful. But it can't continue to rely on a few overworked individuals if it is going to really showcase the extremes of performance that is hang gliding in the twenty first century.

Flytec and Quest Air have also been the major sponsors of the National Flyin/Texas Open and Big Spring meets, sending their tugs and pilots across country to get pilots in the air. Without their efforts competition in the US would be much more limited.

We've worked hard to gain additional sponsorship in the past and we are ready to take the next step. Think about how you might be able to help out.

You can use a link like this: http://ozreport.com/GoogleMap/N+33+47.24,W+116+28.1,Davis+and+Belinda+Are+Here

It will take you to an embedded Google Map centered on that marked point, and there will be a link to click on to open the same thing in Google Earth.

Much like using http://ozreport.com/GoogleEarth/N+33+47.24,W+116+28.1,Davis+and+Belinda+Are+Here
but works for people that don't have Google Earth (like all Mac users).
